IT was a great turnout of athletes at the BHP Billiton 15 at the Bay Hall on Saturday.
A total of 184 runners and 69 walkers completed the race. Nine athletic clubs participated with many more runners and walkers entering on their own.
All those who completed the race received a limited edition of the Beijing Olympics medals that were proudly sponsored by BHP Billiton.
It is the 11th year that BHP Billiton has sponsored this popular event, hosted by the Canon Richards Bay Athletic Club.
The organisers hope to see everyone back for the next BHP Billiton 15 in 2009.
