In addition, there will be three Civic 2 zoned erven with an average site size of approximately

Ownership
According to uMhlathuze City Director of Community Facilitation and Marketing, Pieter Odendaal, two of the 20 Special Residential 2 erven remain in Council ownership while the remainder have been sold to private owners or companies.
'The development across from the Central Sports Complex in Veldenvlei was a Council initiative to release land for residential development.
'The erven has been proclaimed and serviced and alienated by Public Tender.
'The tenure status of four of the General Residential 2 sites, namely Erven 11645, 11646, 11649 and 116450, are unknown at this stage. All three Civic 2 erven have been alienated to a private company,' said Odendaal.
