Ulundi Mayor inaugurated

REPRESENTATIVES from neighbouring municipalities, officials of government departments and members of the public attended the inauguration of the new mayor of Ulundi, Cllr MJ Luthuli.
Because of the number of people attending, the function was held in the Multi-purpose Hall in Ulundi.
The guest speaker was Dr Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
Ulundi Municipal Manager, Ms SA Buthelezi, speaking on behalf of the management and Deputy-Mayor Cllr Manana, on behalf of the councillors, both pledged their support to the new Mayor and undertook to act in the best interest of the Ulundi Municipality.
In his response, Mayor Luthuli thanked the IFP for the confidence they have shown in him and said that he will always keep the community and party first.
